Difference between Vaastu and Feng Shui
Vaastu and Feng Shui are two different sciences – totally different in their approach. There are certain common features and generalities which will be similar but essentially they are two completely different sciences. However, both of them focus on the same goal – to enhance the luck of the inmates by correct set up of the places.
Dr. Parakh practices both the sciences and has been awarded a Gold Medal in Vaastu over 20 years ago and for vocational excellence in Feng Shui over 15 years ago by the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra – Shri. Vilasrao Deshmukh on Maharashtra Day, when Dr. Parakh was honoured with the “The Soham Sanjivani Puraskar”.
In Dr. Parakh’s opinion, Vaastu and Feng Shui are to be considered like Homeopathy and Allopathy. The goal of both – homeopathy and allopathy is to cure the patient and improve his condition but the means are different. Of course, each of these sciences has a set of circumstances or types of cases where one science works better than the other. For example, if a patient has a very acute disease like bubonic plague, it could be fatal unless treated with powerful antibiotics. In such a case, homeopathy is not very useful because its slower acting and milder in comparison to allopathy – which is the best science to resort to so that immediate improvement can take place for a speedy recovery. On the other hand, there are cases of severe chronic diseases where the patient suffers for years and years like asthma or skin diseases like psoriasis and eczema. Here, homeopathy is a far better science than allopathy. In allopathy, one may use steroidal ointments and the eczema or psoriasis may disappear for a few weeks but then it may come back in heightened form in a couple of months again! So, the right science there is to treat the patient and terminate the disease from the root itself using homeopathy. Hence, to state that homeopathy is better than allopathy or vice versa is a mistake. Each of the sciences have their own area of effectiveness where one proves better than the other. It is judicious for the doctor to use the right science for the right kind of case where it is relevant. Similarly, Vaastu and Feng Shui are different sciences, both are powerful. Dr. Parakh practices both sciences and has a huge amount of experience with thousands of professionally handled cases in both sciences.
Dr. Parakh can say with tremendous confidence due to the wealth of his huge experience that it is his very clear opinion that Vaastu is a science that is useful for ground floor structures with land along with, i.e. bungalows and industrial sheds etc. and Flying Star Feng Shui is very powerful for giving results in apartments and offices etc in multi storied buildings.
The reasons for Dr. Parakh’s opinion is based on his experience in the professional practice of both Vaastu and Feng Shui with thousands of cases. Over more than 23 years and going by his own opinion, Dr. Parakh today uses Vaastu majorly only for industrial sheds having a ground floor structure with a light weight roof and also for ground floored bungalows. However, for all cases of flats and offices in multi-storied buildings, Dr. Parakh uses the very powerful luck enhancing science of Flying Star Feng Shui.
